A wave of new retailers have opened in major shopping centres across the Sunshine Coast just in time for Christmas, while several more are in the pipeline.
From juice bars to Aussie clothing labels, make sure to check out these new arrivals on your next shopping spree.
Sunshine Plaza
Jamba
Smoothie and juice bar brand Jamba will open a branch at the Sunshine Plaza before Christmas to provide healthy smoothies, iced drinks and fruit bowls to the surrounding region.
All About Eve
First launching the brand from Melbourne 20 years ago, All About Eve opened their first physical retail store in Victoria this year.
Their next destination will be the Sunshine Plaza, with the store to open before Christmas.
Sportsgirl
The Australian clothing brand reopened on October 12 with a fresh look on level one opposite Jamaica Blue.
Kawana Shopping World
Orange Sherbet
This Queensland-based women’s clothing brand will open its first Sunshine Coast store near the end of November.
The brand created for people to “feel beautiful and empowered by what they wear” stock sizes from 6-24, their page states.
Ghanda
Australian clothing brand Ghanda opened a new branch at Kawana Shopping World on October 27.
The surf and streetwear label stocks clothing for men, women and children of all ages, with majority of pieces being hand-printed in Australia.
SkinKandy
Piercing specialist store SkinKandy opened their branch in Kawana in June, 2023.
The SkinKandy team take on piercings of all types and for every customer in addition to selling piercing jewellery.
The store is located opposite Sportsgirl.
Change
The Queensland fitness brand expanded to the Sunshine Coast in late August with their Kawana Shopping World location, run by Natalie and Evan.
The studio offers more than 90 classes including everything from functional training to yoga and meditation.
The studio is located outside the centre on Bermagui Crescent.
KingIT
KingIT opened in late September this year offering repair services for devices of all kind as well as selling a selection of computer and mobile accessories.
The store is located near Coles in Kawana Shopping Centre.
Stockland Birtinya
The Drop Birtinya
The espresso bar and cafe will open early November at Stockland Birtinya.
Aesthetic Laser and Skin Clinic
The laser and injectables specialist business recently opened their store in August at the shopping centre.
Stockland Baringa
Construction has started to expand Aura Family Doctors and provide more allied health services including sports and spinal physiotherapy.
It is expected the new additions will be available by early 2024.
