A person was hospitalised after a car and motorbike collided on Landsborough Maleny Road, with police later finding the car involved parked at a nearby property.
The crash occurred at 1.45pm, just before the Montville turn-off in Balmoral Ridge.
Paramedics assessed the motorbike rider at the scene for a reported shoulder injury, and they were later taken to Buderim Private Hospital in a stable condition.
Police attended after the crash, with a spokeswoman confirming the car involved was located at a nearby residence.
The cause of the crash is at this stage unclear, with police unable to confirm if any charges have been laid.
