A passing motorist has captured the dramatic moment a car burst into flames on the Sunshine Motorway.
The video, posted to Facebook on Saturday, July 26, shows a car in flames and billowing thick black smoke on the motorway in Mooloolaba.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said crews were first called to the scene about 11am on Saturday, July 26.
The car, a Hyundai, has flames flowing out of the bonnet while stopped on the left-hand shoulder of the Sunshine Motorway near the Mooloolaba entry.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said nobody required treatment or transportation.
