A DUO accused of torture, deprivation of liberty and robbery with violence on the Coast remained in police custody while their matters were heard in court today.

Timothy Andrew Butler, 28, and Katrina Patricia Nadine Gorrie, 32, have been charged for a spate of crimes which allegedly occurred at Noosa Heads on April 15.

Mr Butler, originally from Centenary Heights, had 10 charges against his name including trespassing and wilful damage.

Ms Gorrie, from Tewantin, had five charges against her name including possessing dangerous drugs.

They both faced charges of torture, deprivation of liberty- unlawfully detain/confined, and robbery with violence.
