Police are investigating and a toddler is still fighting for life in hospital after he was hit by a car on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday, January 17.
The boy was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane after he was hit by a car on a private property in Minyama about 9.15am.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the male toddler was presented to Kawana Waters Medical Centre nearby on Kensington Dr where staff called emergency services.
The child was taken to the Sunshine University Hospital by paramedics and was then flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
A hospital spokesman said the boy was still in a critical condition as of 9.15am on Friday.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police were investigating the matter but could not release further information.
