Police spoke to Thompson and he was unsteady on his feet, slurring his words and there was a strong smell of alcohol on his breath.

While speaking to the officers, Thompson yelled out to the security guards “you’re a hero c--t” and “oi you fat f--k”.

The 18-year-old was warned his behaviour was unacceptable and he responded with “I don’t give a f--k, I don’t care”.

“Come here you fat f--k,” he said while making gestures with his hands and calling the security guard over to him.

He was again warned about his behaviour but said he didn’t care.

Thompson was asked for his ID and when going through his wallet he said to police “f--k this, you can have that bruh” and started walking towards the security member he had been yelling at.

Police grabbed hold of Thompson and he pulled away before being arrested and taken to the watch house.

Sergeant Allen said if Thompson had been issued with an infringement notice on the night it would have cost him approximately $800.

Duty lawyer Katie Patterson said Thompson was born in Nambour and now lived at Palmwoods.

Ms Patterson said he completed Grade 12 at Chancellor State College and was in his third year of his plumbing apprenticeship.

Magistrate Barry Barrett did not record a conviction against Thompson.
