A Nambour woman has been refused bail after police allege she was acting as a “lookout” for a female accomplice who burgled an elderly man’s Sunshine Coast home for his wallet and phone.

Police allege Indigo Sloan-Goodall, 26, then used the 76-year-old’s cards during a spending spree at a service station and McDonald’s in the Caloundra area.

Bail documents before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday reveal the extent of her allegations on nine charges including four of fraud, two of entering a premises with intent and one of enter dwelling and commit.

Court documents state Sloan-Goodall borrowed a friend’s 2009 Mercedes Benz when she and another woman attended a home along the Esplanade at Golden Beach on June 22.

About 6am police allege the 26-year-old waited outside a 76-year-old man’s home and acted as a “lookout” when her female accomplice entered the home by an unlocked door.

Detectives allege in bail documents the woman stole a mobile phone and a wallet and fled on foot when she was spotted by the elderly resident.

He then witnessed the pair flee the scene.

CCTV from Ampol Service Station at Baringa 20 minutes later captured Sloan-Goodall allegedly using one of the victim’s cards to buy $93.15 of food and cigarettes before stealing a bag of lollies.

Police further allege Sloan-Goodall spent a whopping $95.70 at Baringa McDonald’s with his card.

Bail documents state the Nambour woman was spotted by the elderly man and on CCTV at both locations with her tattoos clearly showing.

Detectives contacted the owner of the Mercedes Benz who confirmed they loaned the vehicle to Sloan-Goodall.

Court documents state the 26-year-old was unemployed and lived in Nambour with her 19-year-old partner who is currently on parole.

During her bail application in court on Monday, duty lawyer Michael Robinson said the Centrelink recipient has been trying to “stay out of trouble” and avoid drugs besides the “unfortunate exception” from June 22.

Mr Robinson said the enter dwelling charges could be considered “excessive” where it appeared the frauds and enter premises charges were double up offences.

Police prosecutor James Allen objected to Sloan-Goodall’s bail, seeing she was already on probation and bail for other charges when she was arrested on June 29.

Acting magistrate Anna Smith refused bail and adjourned the Nambour woman’s matter to September 3 for sentence.
