A driver has been rushed to hospital after he spent about an hour trapped inside the wreckage of his vehicle which had rolled at the Glass House Mountains.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Fullertons Rd about 12.30pm to reports of a single-vehicle rollover on Friday, March 24.

There, they worked to free a man in his 50s from the wreckage.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the man was out of the car about 1.25pm.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the incident was near the Fullertons Rd and Murphy Rd intersection.

The man has since been taken by Critical Care Paramedics to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition, however his specific injuries could not be confirmed.
