The last runners have crossed the finish line this afternoon as the Sunshine Coast Marathon and Community run comes to an end for another year.
After missing out on last year’s marathon due to Covid-19, 7000 runners laced up to compete in this weekend’s events.
Event distances included the Marathon (42.2), Half Marathon (21.1), 10km, 5km and the 2km.
The 5km race also doubled as the Queensland State Championships for the distance.
