Maroochy River Park is preparing to host four days of unmissable fishing and feasting during this year's winter school holidays.
From kids to adults, residents across the Coast will try their hands as hunters for the park's annual Cod Hole Fishing Competition.
A two-course dinner and dance will also be on offer as attendees dress in Gilligan's Island costumes for the Fishoes 'Shipwrecked' Ball.
Manager Sharyn Smith said it was important to host community events at the "friendliest" caravan park on the Coast.
"Because the fishing competition runs over four days, we decided we needed to do something to keep everyone entertained because a lot of people come to stay at the park for it," she said.
"We love to get people to dress up for the ball and not take themselves too seriously.
"It's amazing to get people together to have fun and a laugh. It's all about family, fun and fishing for us."
Ms Smith said all profits from the ball and entries into the fishing competition will go to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
"We thought it was a great idea to give back to charity," she said.
Yet all those attending will have the chance to win incredible prizes just by entering, donated by Viking Kayaks, Captain Jacks Clothing Co and more.
"We put everyone's names in a barrel and draw them per age group, so everyone has a chance even if they don't win the comp- etition," she said.
The fishing events will run from July 4-7, with the ball on July 5.
