Fire crews called to Eumundi Noosa Rd, Noosaville to blaze in home

Fire crews have been called to a blaze that started in the second level of a Noosa home.

Occupants have fled a fire that began in the second level of a home in the Noosa region this morning.

A Noosa home’s occupants have fled a fire that began in the second level of the building this morning.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said four fire crews were called to Eumundi Noosa Rd in Noosaville about 5.30am today, May 15.

She said the second level of the home was on fire and crews contained the blaze to that level, with the fire extinguished about 20 minutes after they arrived.

It is understood the fire may have started in a dryer.

The spokeswoman said all occupants of the home evacuated before crews arrived.

Police and paramedics were also called.
