ONE of Australia's former most wanted is facing a number of weapons charges after it was alleged he committed crimes while in prison.
Leslie Gordon Sharp, 50, is facing 11 charges including five weapons offences, single counts of producing dangerous drugs, shortening firearms and possessing explosives.
A lawyer appeared on his behalf today in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court and the case has been adjourned until November 24.
It's alleged Sharp is connected to four boxes found in April by police in the State Forest near Landsborough which contained a drug lab, ammunition and firearms.
Sharp was serving time in prison at the time of the offences and it's believed police will allege he directed others to procure and look after the property.
A co-accused has been charged with the same offences and will appear in court on November 6.
