Five patrons voted as most fashionable at Sunshine Coast Melbourne Cup celebrations

The most stunning fashionistas of the Sunshine Coast at this year’s Melbourne Cup Day celebrations have been crowned after weeks of voting.

The most glamorous patrons at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club on Melbourne Cup Day have been crowned after weeks of voting.

The race track was teeming with guests dressed to the nines, garnered with bright colours and extravagant hats, to impress the crowd.

Sharon Klaassen, Belinda McLeod, Melonie Guild, Anita Eaves and Lana Bright were named the most fashionable on the field, snatching up 20 per cent of votes.

Their outfits sported gorgeous pastel colours, floral patterns and stunning shades of blue.

Bold patterns in eye-catching shades of pinks accentuated with blue and yellow earned Emjay Sanderson and Sarah Rice 12 per cent of votes and the title of second place.

Bernalyn Molieta and Cheryl Caddick came third with 10 per cent of votes, making a stunning pair in bright pink and striking black ensembles.
