Fire burns on both sides of Bruce Hwy at Beerwah
Firefighters are back at the Bruce Hwy on the southern Sunshine Coast after a fire that caused traffic chaos reignited and smoke haze lingers over Brisbane.

Firefighters are rushing to the Bruce Highway on the southern Sunshine Coast after a large grassfire reignited.
A traffic jam was caused when fire burnt on both sides of the Bruce Hwy on October 17 near the Wild Horse Mountain intersection.
That same fire at Coochin Creek reignited today, October 18.
Firefighters were called to the incident about 11.20am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said the fire had burnt again on the northern end near the Roys Rd off-ramp on the southbound side of the highway.
Yesterday, October 17, emergency services were called to a grass fire on the side of the Bruce Hwy near the Wild Horse Mountain intersection at 9.15am.
A Queensland Service Ambulance tweet also showed smoke affecting visibility at the Bruce Hwy at Narangba, north of Brisbane, and warned motorists to delay their travel.

The reignition comes as multiple blazes burn across Queensland including in the south-east in Captains Mountain, Woodford, Mount French and Oaky Creek.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said smoke was expected to linger in the Brisbane area for a little longer.
