Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious motorbike crash at Imbil on Sunday, with paramedics treating two people.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the motorbike had crashed into a stationary vehicle, with crews attending the scene at Ray Myers Road and Kandanga Imbil Road at 11.26am.

She said a male, reported to be in his 40s, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with a significant leg injury.

Meanwhile, a female, reported to also be in her 40s, suffered a lower leg injury and was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition by road.

It comes after emergency crews also attended the scene of a single-motorbike crash at Burnside at 10.09am on Mapleton Road.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his 20s was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition with an arm injury.

The accidents occurred prior to a serious crash involving a motorbike and car in the northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway at Caboolture just before midday.

A man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with critical care paramedics on board after suffering facial injuries.

It’s causing major delays for motorists of up to an hour.
