A man has suffered serious facial injuries after a crash between a motorbike and car caused major delays on the Bruce Hwy just north of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the Bruce Highway northbound at Caboolture around midday.
A man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with critical care paramedics on board after suffering facial injuries.
The crash caused delays of more than an hour, with two lanes blocked and police warning drivers to avoid the area.
While the crash scene has been cleared, there is still some congestion in the area.
