One person is injured after a car crashed into another car being loaded onto a tow truck near Noosa.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Walter Hay Drive about 4pm to reports of the multi-car crash.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said a car had crashed into the back of a tow truck loading a car from a previous accident.

The spokeswoman said the crash was initially a “minor” two-car nose-to-tail collision which required a tow truck.

As the flat-bed tow truck was being loaded with one of the cars, a fourth vehicle crashed into the car being loaded up the ramp.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said all people involved left the vehicles with only one patient potentially requiring transport to hospital.

The QFD spokeswoman said the incident was not too serious and only one crew attended with no entrapments of passengers.
