Videos have emerged on social media platform TikTok advertising a bushdoof at Double Island Point just days before a gathering was shut down by police and park rangers.

TikTok user @dibushdoof posted a series of videos to the platform of parties at the popular camping ground which showed motorists performing doughnuts and various dangerous driving incidents.

A video posted on Tuesday, July 27 asked who was coming to Double Island and was accompanied with a video of 4WD stunts and beach parties.

It comes after police shut down a gathering, believed to be a bucks party, on Friday July 30 which was described by a witness as “over the top”.

Gympie resident Steve Kelly said park rangers and police broke up the party the next morning.

He said the party had fireworks and a DJ which did not finish up until 5am.

“It should have been toned down, their behaviour was over-the-top,” Mr Kelly said.

“They had a doof trailer set up that had large speakers on it and the music went all night.

“Couple of lots of fireworks after 10pm … of course the cars were out front trying to outdo each other.”

Police said a beach party advertised on social media was disrupted on Saturday night with a 17-year-old Brisbane P-plater issued a ticket for allegedly drink driving and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

A total of 24 vehicles were also evicted from the beach on Saturday after reports of “anti-social” behaviour on Friday night.

Noosa Police seized a 4WD after it was allegedly spotted doing doughnuts at Teewah Beach over the weekend.

Noosa police station officer-in-charge Ben Carroll said at the weekend police performed 58 random breath tests at Noosa North Shore which found five people over the limit.

He said 13 offenders were issued court notices for drink driving, dangerous operation of a vehicle and disqualified driving.

“Multiple infringement notices were also issued for defective vehicles, failing to display P-plates, modified exhausts, and lighting fires under QPWS legislation,” he said.
