Early morning commuters face big delays after a three car crash on the Sunshine Coast led to multiple lanes being closed.
Emergency services responded to the crash on the Bruce Highway northbound at Tanawha at 5.45am.
Queensland Fire Department had two crews on scene, police had closed multiple lanes and were redirecting traffic, and paramedics were assessing four people. All were in a stable condition.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said at one point all lanes were closed causing significant delays.
However, one lane has since reopened. She said delays were still expected.
