Crashes at Noosa Heads, Forest Glen, Sippy Downs and Mooloolaba

A man in his 20s has suffered “significant” head injuries in a crash at Noosa Heads while emergency crews also responded to three other crashes across the Sunshine Coast.

Three people have been taken to hospital and paramedics are still checking a fourth after multiple crashes across the Sunshine Coast.

As of 5.50am Saturday, emergency crews were on the scene of a crash at Forest Glen where a man in his 20s had crashed into a guard rail on Eudlo Flats Rd.

He was in a stable condition.

Earlier, another man in his 20s was seriously hurt at Noosa Heads.

According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, he suffered “significant head injuries” in a rollover on Grosvenor Terrace at 9.33pm Friday.

He was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

At Mooloolaba, paramedics treated a stable male driver, also in his 20s, for lacerations to his hands following a rollover on Kalinda Ave at 6.29pm Friday.

He too was taken to SCUH as was a woman in her 80s who crashed into a parked car on Olympic Way, Sippy Downs at 5.47pm Friday.

She was in a stable condition.
