BREAKING: Coast police have charged a man following the investigation of the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.

COAST police have charged a man following the investigation of the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.
A 47-year-old allegedly Little Mountain man assaulted the girl repeatedly between 2015 and 2017.
She was was known to the man but not related to him.
The 47-year-old has been charged with 27 counts of rape, 65 counts of indecent treatment of a child and one count of possession of child exploitation material.
He appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court today and did not apply for bail.
He is due to return to court on August 11.
