A Mountain Creek administration officer has been granted bail after police allegedly found her with $120,000 in cash and a stash of drugs.

Cassandra Louise Wise, 28, appeared via the video link in Maroochydore Magistrates Court where her solicitor Jarrod Bell applied for bail on her behalf.

Ms Wise faces a string of drug charges including possessing drugs, possessing a relevant substance or thing and contravening a police order about information stored electronically on her mobile.

Police opposed bail due to the risk that she could reoffend and interfere with witnesses.

Court documents stated police saw a Ford Ranger in the carpark of the Pelican Waters Golf Resort at 10.50pm on June 10, 2022.

“Police are aware of recent intelligence relating to crime and suspected drug dealing occurring at this location,” the documents stated.

Police said the male driver of the vehicle immediately ran from the scene but a card left on the ground showed identification for her co-accused Michael John Alderson.

Ms Wise was a passenger in the vehicle that was then searched by officers.

Police found a clip seal bag containing a white substance believed to be methamphetamine, Butanediol (GHB) and $121,090 cash.

According to court documents, Ms Wise had other matters before the court including possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying.

Officers obtained an order to access information on her mobile, but Ms Wise refused to give them the passcode.

“From this investigation, police suspect that the defendant has been trafficking in dangerous drugs,” the documents said.

Police prosecutor Brendan Newman said it would be the third time Ms Wise hasn’t provided her phone pin code to police.

Mr Bell said his client could have strict reporting conditions and a curfew if she was released on bail.

Mr Bell submitted the reason Ms Wise refused to hand over her passcode was due to messages with her solicitor about another court matter, but had otherwise complied with police.

He said Ms Wise broke her back in a car accident and had been suffering medical issues since then.

Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist granted bail and Ms Wise was due back in court on July 15.
