DRIVERS will be able to grab freshly-made sangers on the go with Sandwich Chefs opening its first drive-through on the Coast.
Located in the new Fresh Trading Co. building along Bli Bli Rd, the deli carvery will offer mouth-watering meat-filled sandwiches to busy customers stuck in their midday meal rut.
Sandwich Chefs national marketing manager Ollie Mann said the pilot store, which embraced a fast-paced experience, would ensure customers could access quick and healthy options.
"We understand the crazy lives of working 'nine to five' - everyone has a meeting to get to, a
family to get from 'A' to 'B'," he said.
"We're hoping we are making it easier to get wholesome food, faster.
"Sandwich-lovers can order their favourite menu option, pair it with a combo, add sides, juices or select anything on the all-day brekkie menu from their car window.
"We're all about providing wholesome, homemade food in an efficient and innovate way, so when the opportunity arose to make use of a drive-through, we jumped at it."
Mr Mann said being the middle ground between Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Noosa and other Sunshine Coast areas, Nambour was the perfect location to trial the increasingly popular drive-through space and if proven successful, it would roll out nationally.
Opening this Thursday, the drive-through will offer fan favourites, excluding the roast meal and make-your-own range, which can be ordered in store.
