Brisbane Lions’ AFL veteran Mitch Robinson will join the fun at the launch of a new line of Larrikin Rum this weekend at the Banana Bender Pub on the Sunshine Coast.
The family-friendly auction will be held tomorrow, June 8, at 10am and will showcase an exclusive new line of rum to the public.
It will also feature the ceremonial opening of the first bottle in a limited series, which will be auctioned off to one lucky rum lover.
Larrikin Rum founder Brett McMahon said the business was extremely pleased and excited to announce the launch of a great Australian drop.
“It’s a pleasure for us to have AFL legend Mitch Robinson join us on the day as the lucky person to open and taste the first nip of rum before the auction,” he said.
“I will be there to share my family’s rich history with Bundy Rum and the tale of the bear.”
The launch event will comprise rum tasting, meet and great, live performances and the chance to mingle with other rum enthusiasts and collectors in a warm, welcoming environment.
