Fire crews have worked through the night to contain a bushfire that flared up on a Sunshine Coast property.

Crews were called to a private property at Wood Rd in Beerwah and were working in the early hours of the morning to contain a fire.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the fire did not pose a threat to property and firefighters left shortly before 7am Monday.

He said they would continue to monitor the situation throughout the day.
