Shattered parents have shared the heartbreaking news of the death of their “beautiful boy” after the 17-year-old was struck by a car in Noosa Heads at the weekend.

Nathan Harris shared a photo of Solomon Tucker, saying: “It is with heavy hearts that the Harris, O’Connell, Tucker and Djordjieski Family announce the passing away of our beautiful boy Solomon Tucker in the early hours of this morning.

“We rest assured that Solomon is in the presence of His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

The 17-year-old Cooroy teenager was struck by a Ford Ranger on Claude Batten Drive, Noosa Heads, about 1.55am on Sunday.

He died at the scene.

Police said it was believed he had separated from his friends and was lying on the road before he was struck.

It was unclear why the boy had been on the road but police said he was not part of Schoolies celebrations.
