Multi-vehicle crash on Caloundra Rd sends five to hospital
Five people involved in a multi-vehicle crash on a busy Sunshine Coast road have been taken to hospital.

Five people have been rushed to hospital following a crash on a major road on the southern end of the Sunshine Coast.
The crash occurred on Caloundra Rd at Corbould Park about 11.50pm on Friday, July 4.
A Queensland Police spokesman said four vehicles were involved in the crash, and one lane may have been blocked but traffic is flowing.
A post by Queensland Ambulance states five people were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following the incident.

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a crash into a building in a commercial precinct of a Sunshine Coast suburb on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at Capital Place – just off Kawana Way – in Birtinya about 8.10am on Friday, July 4
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said a car had crashed into a commercial building on Capital Place, and smashing its windows as a result.
Fire crews remained at the scene for 10 minutes before leaving the job in the hands of paramedics.
No one was trapped in the car.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said they took one person, believed to be female, to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Circumstances behind the crash are unknown at this stage.
