The Labor, LNP and an Independent candidate for the all important seat of Redcliffe went head to head in a live debate on October 14.
Redcliffe has been held by Attorney-General Yvette D’Ath (ALP) since the Scott Driscoll (LNP) saga triggered a by-election in 2014.
The seat, which covers the suburbs of Clontarf, Kippa-Ring, Redcliffe, Scarborough, Woody Point, Margate and Moreton Island, is considered a safe Labor seat – along with the majority of other electorates in the Moreton Bay council area.

Mrs D’Ath, LNP candidate Kerri-Anne Dooley and Independent Ian Philp were given sixty seconds to tell viewers why they should earn their votes on October 31.
Redcliffe & Bayside Herald editor Erin Smith put some tough questions to the candidates, including some reader questions, covering a range of topics.
The candidates at differing views on ways to combat youth crime.
All three also agreed that the unemployment rate was a concern and shared their plans to create jobs and get the economy back on track.
Mrs D’Ath confirmed that there would be an MRI machine running at the Redcliffe Hospital by the end of the year.
But was not able to commit that a barge to Moreton Island would be operational by the end of 2021.
Mrs D’Ath said a Labor Government would continue to support the project but the time frame depended on a commercial operator coming on board.
The issue of traffic got the candidates thinking big picture, especially when it came to easing congestion on Anzac Ave.
Pre-polling opens on Monday with the election on October 31.
