For a weekend of fun, burlesque dancing, booze, a degustation dinner, golf or karaoke with friends and family the Granite Belt has got you covered.

Degustation dinner

Delight in a degustation event that allows guests to not just appreciate a good drop of quality wine paired with a food dish but engages all five senses of taste, smell, touch, sight and sound during a seven-course dinner.

During the dinner guests taste the gourmet dishes and wines, smell the Le Nez du Vin aroma kit to help identify wine scents, hear the sounds of a string quartet ensemble, touch the expensive crockery and see a silent movie projected overhead.

Burlesque show

Watch some of the Granite Belt’s talented dancers in this Christmas in Winter burlesque special performance.

The show is expected to both tease and excite while making the audience laugh at times as it follows the naughty or nice theme.

The show is strictly an 18+ only audience.

WHEN: Friday and Saturday from 7.30pm-9.30pm

WHERE: Stanthorpe Little Theatre, 20 Connor Street

COST: $10 for concession and $15 for all other adults

Drag racing

The sixth annual Cottonvale Digout is taking place this weekend.

Watch the dirt drags while you enjoy a lunchtime picnic in the park and breakfast the following morning.

WHEN: From 5pm Friday until Sunday

WHERE: Pete’s Hot Rod and Resto Shop, 148 Watson Road, Cottonvale

COST: Gold coin donation for spectators and $75 per person for racers

Golf charity day

Play a round of golf while raising money for a worthy cause in this Hellow Yellow Charity Day.

Everyone is encouraged to dress in yellow for the day, with a best-dressed team and best-decorated buggy prizes given out.

Money raised will be donated to the Stanthorpe Cancer Support Group.

Sunset Picnic Session

Kick back and relax for an afternoon sitting on a bean bag enjoying some wine and food as you watch the sunset.

There is even a nice warm bonfire to sit around and enjoy the day with friends and family. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic of food, games or a portable BBQ.

Wine, wine tasting and soft drinks are available to purchase on the day.

Sing ‘til your heart’s content to chart-topping songs or classic hits at this karaoke event.

Head on down for a great night where you can get your groove on in town with your friends.

Superbike racing

To get your adrenaline pumping and watch some heart-stopping moments live on the racetrack, this weekend’s Warwick 1000 is the place to be.

Circuit racers from across the country will compete in the epic three-day event.

WHEN: Friday to Sunday

WHERE: Morgan Park Raceway

Yoga and brunch

Enjoy this Wellbeing in the Woolshed event with morning yoga.

Then enjoy brunch made from naturally grown local produce before expressing your creativity in a colour a canvas workshop.

WHEN: Sunday from 8.30am-4.30pm

Night train excursion

Take a trip to Clifton and enjoy a two course dinner at the Clifton Hotel.

Explore the main street at night while enjoying the sights along the way on a great heritage rail tour.
