A twisted metal fence and splintered tree is what remains at the scene of a single vehicle crash where a young man driving a Holden Sedan smashed into a residential property.
On Wednesday May 5, Warwick police were called to the crash site at a residential property on Jackie Howe Drive to find the car had left the road and hit a tree just before 7.30pm.
Acting Senior Sergeant Cameron Slater said an investigation report showed the “fence was significantly damaged”.
The 20-year-old man involved in the accident has been discharged from the Warwick Hospital after sustaining minor injuries in the crash.
Police await the Warwick man’s blood test results which were conducted after his hospital admission.
“Investigations into the cause of the accident are still ongoing,” Sergeant Slater said.
