The woman and child, who were travelling in the same car, were transported in a stable condition after the incident occurred just after 3pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the adult female suffered back pain and the baby boy sustained no injuries.

“A third adult male patient was assessed and declined transport,” she said.
