Erika Bela Heim and Whoopi win Burnett’s cutest Book Week costume

The hunt for the region’s choice for cutest Book Week 2023 costume has come to a close, with one girl and her dog receiving an overwhelming number of votes from the Burnett region.

Imaginations have run wild this week with children across the Burnett getting into the spirit of Book Week by dressing up as their favourite characters from the worlds of fiction.

The winner of the South Burnett Times’ competition for readers to vote for the cutest dressed child has come to a close, crowning Erika Bela Heim and her support dog, Whoopi, as the winners.

The pair who dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood as grandma proved to be the region’s favourite by receiving 27 per cent of total votes.

Runners up were Daneika as Nemo and Clay as Chopper Reid.
