Six people including at least three children have been injured, with one suffering serious stomach injuries, after five separate incidents at a popular motorbike park.

The first incident happened on Saturday about 9.07am when paramedics were called to a crash at the Manar Off Road Park recreation area in Boondooma, west of Proston in the South Burnett.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a “primary school aged” child was treated at the scene with serious abdominal injuries before being flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said it was believed he had fallen from his bike while riding with family and friends.

Later that same day, about 3pm, two teenagers were also treated by paramedics.

One teenager was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with leg injuries.

“It’s believed he had been riding around the course when he collided with another rider,” the LifeFlight spokesperson said.

Another teenager was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

On Sunday afternoon three males were all flown to hospital in separate incidents with two in a serious condition.

At 12.15pm on Sunday a man in his 30s sustained shoulder injuries from a “buggie roll-over” and was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition just after 1pm.

Another male in his 20s was airlifted on the same flight with head and chest injuries after a falling from his motorbike and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

At 1.49pm a third male was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital with spinal injuries who was airlifted to in a “serious but stable” condition.

The bike park is a popular tourist spot, wedged between the Wigton State Forest and Beeron National Park.

On the website’s event calendar the bike park has mini enduro, flat track and hill climbs listed as activities for the Easter weekend.

It caters for all age and ability riders.

In December 2022 a teenage rider was flown from the park to the Sunshine Coast for further treatment after being thrown from his bike and landing on his head.
