Teenager hurt in motorbike crash at Manar Rd recreational park, Qld

A teenager has been flown to hospital after suffering multiple injuries in a regional Queensland recreational park.

A teenage motorbike rider has been flown to Bundaberg with multiple injuries after he was thrown from his bike in a crash at the popular Manar Rd recreational park in the South Burnett.

Emergency services were called to the isolated parkland, about 30km north of Boondooma and 50km west of Goomeri, about 11.24am.

A Queensland Ambulance Spokeswoman said the youth suffered head and shoulder injuries.

The injuries were not considered serious, she said.

He was flown in a stable to the Bundaberg Hospital, more than 250km away, for treatment.
