A teenage dirt bike rider was flown to Toowoomba Hospital on Friday afternoon, after being thrown from his bike at a South Burnett motorsport park.

The boy was riding at Boondooma’s Manar Off Road Park, about 70km northwest of Goomeri near Beeron National Park, when he came off his bike shortly before 11am.

A QAS spokeswoman said the teen, aged about 14, suffered a hip injury in the fall.

He was flown out of the park in a stable condition.
