Teen airlifted with broken arm, head injuries, after ATV rollover in South Burnett

A teenage boy has suffered head injuries and a broken arm after an all-terrain vehicle rolled in the South Burnett.

A teenage boy has been flown to hospital suffering head injuries and a broken arm after an all-terrain vehicle rolled at Mondure.

It’s believed the 14-year-old was driving the ATV on a private property in the South Burnett region when he lost control of the vehicle,

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the patient at the property before travelling to the LifeFlight helicopter, which was tasked at 1.30pm, and landed at a cricket oval near the incident scene.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic treated the boy for a broken arm and suspected head and pelvic injuries.

He was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
