Woman assaulted and robbed by two youths in Cherbourg
Police are searching for two teenagers, including one who may be as young as 12 years old, who assaulted a woman and attempted to steal her car in the South Burnett.

Police are searching for two teenagers, including one who may be only 12 years old, who assaulted and robbed a woman in her 50s in Cherbourg on Monday.
Police said in a statement on Monday, March 11 about 9.50pm, two children, one described as about “12 or 13 years old” and the other described as about “15 or 16 years old,” assaulted a woman before robbing her on Fisher St.
According to police, the offenders also tried to steal the woman’s car but were “disturbed” by another member of the public.
The two offenders fled the scene with the woman’s phone and other property.
The 12 or 13 year old was described as about 157cm tall, skinny build and wearing all black.
The 15 or 16 year old was described as about 170cm tall, skinny build with dark clothing.
Police said the investigation continues and anyone with information should contact them.
