A woman has been flown to hospital with potentially life-threatening burns following a vehicle fire in the South Burnett which is understood to be related to a mental health incident.
Fireys, police, and paramedics were called to the scene of the fire at McLaughlin Rd, North Benarkin, about 11.40am.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the vehicle, a ute, was well alight when crews arrived, and the flames had started a nearby grassfire.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman, of unknown age, was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with burns to her face, arms and back.
