A woman has died in hospital after a single-vehicle crash at Goodger in February.

The woman, identified as Sonya Pearson, 40, was injured when the vehicle she was driving crashed into a tree on February 19 on the Kingaroy-Cooyar Rd.

Firefighters worked for 40 minutes to free the Benair woman, cutting the door off the vehicle so paramedics could treat her.

At the time, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said Ms Pearson suffered injuries to her head, legs, arms and pelvis in the crash.

She was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries but died on March 3.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
