Man charged with child sexual offences
A 38-year-old man has been remanded in custody on multiple sickening charges and will face the Kingaroy court later this month.

A Runnymede man has been remanded in custody on charges related to child sexual offences, including engaging in penile intercourse with a child under 16.
The case against the 38-year-old was mentioned in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Friday, January 31.
The man did not appear as he has been remanded in custody in the Maryborough Correctional Centre, but his lawyer Mark Werner from J. A. Carroll Solicitors appeared on his behalf.
He is charged with engaging in penile intercourse with a child under 16, two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16, and one count each of buying or possessing S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons, possessing utensils or pipes that had been used, and possessing dangerous drugs.

The court heard the man faced another 19 charges based on the same evidence as his original charges.
However, Mr Werner said he has not yet received any material relating to the new counts.
Magistrate Andrew Sinclair granted an adjournment.
The man is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court via video link on February 24, 2025.
