A man will front court on an assault charge, after an argument turned violent at the Burrandowan Campdraft on Saturday, with a man in his 50s taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Police will allege a verbal argument broke out between two men at the campdraft, which escalated when a 32-year-old man physically attacked the other man and broke the handle of his car door in the process, a Queensland Police spokeswoman said.
The 58-year-old man suffered bruising to his head, neck and back and was taken to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment.
The younger man was arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and wilful damage.
He was granted bail and is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 31.
