A woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition after she suffered a medical episode while driving in Inverlaw, near Kingaroy.
Police jumped to action to pull over the car, which they’d reportedly spotted driving erratically down River Street just before 2pm Tuesday, a Queensland Police spokesman said.
The officers established the 47-year-old was suffering a medical episode and swerved in front of her car to stop it.
The quick-thinking police officers pulled the woman from the car and administered First Aid until paramedics arrived a short time later.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the woman was not injured in the crash, but remains in a serious condition due to the medical episode she suffered behind the wheel.
She was taken to Kingaroy Hospital.
