A 41-year-old man accused of stalking and setting fire to a vehicle had his case heard in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.
Garry James Harsant from Kingaroy, has been charged with two counts of arson of a vehicle, and one count each of breaking and entering, unlawful stalking, intimidation, harassing or abuse, common assault, stealing, and wilful damage.
Each charge is in the domestic violence category.
Police allege Mr Harsant, who is currently out on bail, committed the majority of offences in December last year, and stalked/harassed his alleged victim over a period of six months.
His lawyer, who appeared on his behalf over the phone on Wednesday, April 30, told the court her client’s legal team had recently changed and the new team was still awaiting the full brief of evidence.
The court heard the case had been adjourned five times previously and was adjourned once more until May 30.
