Prosecutor Alex Stark said Miller lured the six year old into his bedroom under the pretence they were going to play music.
The victim stated, “he tricked me into the room and said ‘let’s go play a game’”.
Miller showed the child sexual videos and photos of his penis before making the child perform oral sex.
Mr Stark said she was so scared and didn’t know what to do so gave in.
The victim tried to pull away but Miller pulled her back and said “come back in here” in a loud voice.
Mr Stark said Miller then raped her for several minutes.
He said the victim told police “I tried to go to a happy place, but couldn’t go to a happy place”.
“Everything was hurting,” Mr Stark said.
“She said she lay there feeling nothing, feeling dead.”
On February 14, 2019, DNA analysis detected Miller’s semen in the child’s underwear, the court heard.
Defence barrister Francis Martin told the court the girl had been sitting on Miller’s bed where he and his girlfriend frequently had sexual intercourse.
“DNA can transfer into clothing so it could have been from another time,” Mr Martin said.
Jurors heard several hours of recorded evidence from the victim; her mother and a social worker.
Miller was remanded in custody and scheduled to appear at the Maroochydore District Court on May 3 for sentencing.
