Investigations are underway after a man was assaulted during an attack at the Gayndah skate park, before his house was pelted with eggs later that night.

Queensland Police said the 35-year-old man was walking from the shops to the Queen Street skate park on Sunday when he was punched in the head by a man.

Gayndah officer-in-charge Sergeant Don Auld said the man’s house was pelted with eggs later that same night.

Sergeant Auld said police want to remind people that “one punch can kill” and to walk away and cool down instead of getting violent.

Police investigations are continuing into the assault.
