A man has been rushed to a South Burnett hospital in a serious condition following a quad bike crash on a private property this morning.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said three fire crews went to the crash on the corner of Kumbia Minmore Rd and Wooden Hut Rd in Wattle Grove, about 20km west of Kingaroy, about 6.05am.

He said initial reports suggested a quad bike had rolled and someone was trapped.

When crews arrived, however, there were no entrapments.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a man in his 70s was transported with serious chest and back injuries to the Kingaroy Hospital following the crash on private property.
