Police are appealing for information after a break-and-enter and serious assault of an elderly man and woman in Murgon.
About 10.20pm on Wednesday, January 15, three people attempted to enter two vehicles parked in carport at a Wallace St home.
The three people then gained entry to the residence before making verbal threats to two elderly residents and assaulting them.
The victims, an 80-year-old man and 76-year-old woman were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The three alleged attackers fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision to come forward.
