A drug addicted woman was busted with a range of drug paraphernalia and a quantity of meth when police searched her home.

Breaze Amba Hutchinson, 33, pleaded guilty to possessing property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, possessing utensils for drug use and two charges of possessing dangerous drugs.

A police search at the home of a Goomeri mother revealed dangerous drugs in her bedroom, Murgon Magistrates Court was told on Tuesday.

Breaze Amba Hutchinson, 33, pleaded guilty to possessing property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, possessing utensils for drug use and two charges of possessing dangerous drugs.

Police prosecutor Lisa Manns said a police search of Hutchinson’s home on April 12 yielded “bongs, scissors, a grinder, an ice pipe and a black glasses case committing an offence within the drugs misuse act”.

Police also found a clip sealed bag containing 0.1g of methamphetamines, digital scales and plastic scoops, Sergeant Manns said.

Hutchinson represented herself in court and said she had no comments to make.

Magistrate Andrew Sinclair placed her on nine months probation

Convictions were recorded and Hutchinson’s bail was enlarged before she appears in court again on August 1 for failing to appear in accordance with a court undertaking.
