A man in his 50s was flown to hospital after a quad bike accident in Blackbutt South this morning.

He was later flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

This incident was one of three emergencies in the past two days in which South Burnett patients were flown to hospital.

A teenager was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital later in the afternoon.

On Sunday morning, a primary school aged child suffered head and facial injuries after falling from a horse and was initially going to be flown to hospital but was instead taken to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance.
