Man flown to hospital after tractor crash in South Burnett

A rescue helicopter was rushed to the South Burnett after a man suffered multiple injuries in a tractor crash.

A man in his 60s has been flown to hospital after suffering multiple injuries when the tractor he was driving rolled over in the South Burnett at the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to a farming property at Durong, near Proston around, 8am on Sunday.

It was believed the man was working on the property when the accident happened.

He was assessed at the scene by a LifeFlight critical care doctor and paramedics, and was flown to Toowoomba hospital in a stable condition with suspected torso, back and abdomen injuries.
